APRA AMCOS is seeking an NATSIMO representative located in either the Sydney or Melbourne office, forms an integral part of the national team and would be required to liaise with all staff across departments where required. This position requires the incumbent to be responsible for the day to day administration of the APRA AMCOS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Music Office (NATSIMO), whilst supporting the team with stakeholder and membership relationship management and to support and contribute to and internal process development and external advocacy.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide general and specific information for members regarding their APRA AMCOS membership
- Frequent contact with music industry professionals
- Ensure all members maximise their potential to earn royalties via APRA AMCOS
- Effective liaison between departments to resolve member queries.
- Providing members and associated industry with up to date and accurate knowledge of pertinent internal procedures and membership policies.
- New member acquisition, including identifying opportunities for increased representation.
- Database, royalty distribution, other writer membership focused projects as required
- Effective management of a personal membership portfolio, in addition to regular contact with membership and non-member songwriters.
- Creation of standard reports as required
- Project, Event and Engagement reporting
- Collation of statistical information as required
- Actively promoting and establishing Music Industry relationships with APRA AMCOS.
- Attendance as required at relevant events.
- Attending Music Industry functions as an APRA AMCOS/NATSIMO representative.
- Research to identify and increase membership and to maintain relationships with members from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
- Public Speaking at other music industry events
- Participation, reporting and research to support APRA AMCOS/NATSIMO member events programs
- Co-ordination, budgeting, participation and evaluation as required for member events
- Public Speaking and Presentations to Education institutions, including universities, music colleges, TAFE, schools.
- Member acquisition, retention and distribution tasks
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated relationship management experience
- Music Business experience
- Oral and written communication skills, including public speaking
- Administration and data entry competency
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Event management
- Problem solving Previous Database management experience
