About Your Role
Thales Australia provides logistics services expertise to our customer, the Australian Defence Force. Thales will train and qualify you to work in each area of our logistics business including, storage, maintenance and distribution. This will be comprised of ‘on the job’ training as well as courses through our in-house registered training organisation.
Join our team as the Storage and Distribution Supervisor at our Myambat depot. Your role revolves around safe operations, meeting customer expectations, and process enhancement.

Leading and managing multi-skilled teams in depot operationsCollaborating with the Regional Manager for process improvements
Assisting in staff management, performance evaluation, and development
Implementing safety initiatives and conducting audits in high-risk areas
Providing on-the-job guidance and training
Ensuring adherence to security requirements in supervised areas
Monitoring depot KPIs and implementing improvements as needed
Compiling data for Monthly Operations and General Reports
Managing licensing activities for potential explosive sites
Maintaining service levels and compliance with regulations
Supporting 'On-Call' roster and unforeseen events.
How About You?
Previous supervisory experience in logistics & warehousing
Experience working with Dangerous Goods
Proficient communication skills across all staff levels
Previous experience within Defence and/or Logistic would be highly advantageous
